I've painted a Peregrine with watercolours. This will be one of the prizes of a birdrace held this weekend in Tata town (http://kokayarthu.blogspot.com/). The finder of the rarest bird will receive it. This race will be the part of the 8th Wild Geese Festival. This Falcon winters in this town, the painting shows it perched on the Catholic church:
At last I finished my snake commission. The last plate was completed yesterday late evening. Here's a species from it, the Dice-like Trinket Snake (Maculophis bellus):
Only one plate left! Here's a detail from the one I finished yesterday. This is Zaw's Wolf Snake (Lycodon zawi), discovered in 1999 in Northeast India:
Here's an interesting species from my next plate. Blunt-headed Slug Snake (Aplopeltura boa). This, and some other from this plate, are specialized in feeding on snakes and slugs.
The work in progress. At last someone is interested in my work!
